Ergonomic products abound, and many of them can be
useful. However, good ergonomics and position isn't
about how many products you have or how expensive your chair
is.
Good positioning, movement
and ergonomics is based on principles and methods.
|
You may use some
commercially available products to help you achieve the
positions and postures you need. Other, quick and
cheap solutions are sometimes equally as effective (such
as a little travel pillow for a lumbar support, or a
regular, covered foam cushion or wedge for your seat,
and a thick telephone book for your feet.) These
might work in your home office and some corporate
offices, but not in others. It depends on your
budget (or your companies budget). Good ergonomics
is not dependent on commercially available
products. All it takes is a little creativity and
a willingness to work on finding the best ergonomics
solutions for your needs!
